What Others Are Saying
The Institute for American Values is a private, nonpartisan think
tank devoted to research, publication, and public education on
major issues of family well-being and civil society. The Institute’s
central offices are located in Manhattan, where its staff totals
five people. Five additional staff work off-site. The Institute
works full-time on a number of topics including: marriage, motherhood,
childhood and adolescence, and civil society.
This summer’s internship offers
a unique opportunity to work directly with the Institute’s
president on the historical aspects of thrift and American culture,
as well as on the topic of marriage. Research and writing skills
are essential. This is an unpaid position; the schedule is flexible.
There will also be some clerical work involved. If interested,
please contact Dr. Bonnie Robbins, administrative director, at
info@americanvalues.org, by phone at 212/246-3942, or by fax at
212/541-6665.
